For 10 years Tonträger has been offering reliable protection for versatile instruments. We rely on solidity wearing comfort and a functional and modern design. Our gig bags and cases are of high quality and well padded to guarantee solid security on the adventures of a musician’s everyday life. The range of sound carriers is just as diverse as the images that the name sound carrier can evoke in people’s minds.
Various string instruments should find solid protection in our bags and cases. All bags are made of robust polyester and can be carried in the hand comfortably or easily be strapped to the back. Also they can be transported by bike or scooter. Well padded with high density foam, the instrument is safely stored for transport. Reflectors also provide more safety in the dark, a practical outer pocket and stand complete the bag. In addition to ideal protection, the cases offer a noble design that impresses with a surface made of artificial leather and robust snap locks.
This brand is the tangible result of Bestacoustics Reinhardt - CEO Gunther Reinhardt’s connection to science. More precisely between the universities of Tübingen and Pforzheim. For several months bachelor students from the fields of graphic design, fashion design and industrial design developed the brand in an interdisciplinary project. After several prototypes and different ideas the name “Tonträger” and the associated logo remained which now adorns our bags and cases.
